I am Thomas Clarkson, an artist-blacksmith with a special interest in hand-forged ironwork and traditional joinery (attaching metal to metal without the use of modern welding equipment). I’ve also been known to forge non-ferrous materials like copper, brass, stainless steel, and naval bronze. There are several examples scattered throughout the website, including a floral sculpture made out of naval bronze in the Sculpture section. All work is done in my studio at the B Complex in Atlanta, with a variety of gas and coal forges and my 1926 Little Giant power hammer. All work is strictly supervised for quality control by Lucy, the redbone hound.

There is a wide variety of types of project listed in the pages to the right. Please check out the different sections, and click on a thumbnail to enlarge the picture.
